One of my favorite aspects of being a therapist is the supervisory process. As a clinician, my supervision experience has been a mixed bag. I had some really great supervisors, who pushed me to becoming the therapist I am today, as well as some awful supervisors, who helped me figure out what not to do when I become a supervisor. As a certified sex therapist, it has always been my dream to become a supervisor. I truly believe it is a privilege to have this role and responsibility. I have been a state supervisor in Ohio since 2021 and have experience supervising clinicians focusing on sex therapy.
