As a member of the community, I know firsthand the difficulties one can experience. I don’t have to tell you how hard it is being a member of a minority group in this country. Although there has been progress in various areas, the stigma and discrimination is still around, ready to pounce at any moment. I am here to help you explore the intersectionality of all your identities in a safe, and non-judgmental space. Whether you want to spend time exploring your sexual identity and the desires you have, or you want to focus on your gender and all the intricacies that come with it, you will find a therapist who has the experience.

Sexuality is especially challenging to members of the community because we grow up in a world that promotes the beliefs and values of heterosexuality. The problem is, we don’t fit into that group, so what do we do? We begin the mental gymnastics of figuring out what we like and what we don’t like, and with little to no guidance, there is no guarantee for success. While some of us have had positive experiences with this journey, others have not.  On top of all of this, the sex negativity associated with exploring non-traditional relationships can be damaging and shame-inducing. When it is all said and done, we all breathe in the smog of heteronormativity. Let me be the filter that helps you navigate this world and foster the path that is suited for you.
