The relationships we form throughout our lifetime can be extremely meaningful for us, especially the ones we have with our significant other. But there can be times that arise where there is a disconnect between you and your partner. This is completely natural. What is not natural is thinking you should have all the tools to fix the issues that arise, especially when we involve intimacy. As you grow as a couple and experience different life phases and challenges, your relationship is supposed to change. This is a good thing! As your sex therapist, it is my job to help both of you on your journey to reconnecting again.

You might seek a sex therapist because:

  • Consensual Non-monogamy

  • Lack of physical intimacy

  • Wanting to explore a new kink with your partner

  • Low sexual arousal

  • Difficulties communicating

  • Sex before, during, and after pregnancy

  • Parenting issues

  • Broken trust or infidelity

  • Sexual identity exploration

  • Sexual dysfunctions

Couples therapy can get uncomfortable at times, especially when we are talking about sex. I encourage you two to have an open mind when starting this process. Whether we meet for a few sessions or we stick together for years, it is my job to be that objective figure who helps you two create a relationship that works best for both of you.
